Memory Lane

The Prostornina team took care of an apartment interior design project in a multi-apartment building in Nova Gorica. The interior designers didn’t have to do many changes to the floor plan or installation plans but instead placed more emphasis on well-designed, elegant and functional furniture.

The central part of the apartment is the living area full of souvenirs and works of art. A burgundy red sofa, which the client wants to keep from her previous home, evokes pleasant memories of a past life and brings a slightly nostalgic and vintage touch to the interior.

AN INTERIOR FULL OF MEMORIES

The common thread through the interior design are works of art and souvenirs which create a pleasant homely atmosphere in the interior. Artworks and books adorn the walls, cabinets, and custom-designed luxurious display cases. These are made of light oak veneer, the glass is inserted into elegant black frames. Led strips illuminate the display case interior in a gentle ambient light, and create a magical and pleasant evening ambience.

Elegant and timeless interior design is functionally and carefully designed and corresponds to the clients living habits and needs. Soft shapes, light natural beige and grey colour tones, black details and gold brushed metal predominate. The floor is covered with warm and eternally elegant parquet.

LIVING AREA

A dining area, a living room and a small but practical kitchen are part of a bright and spacious living area. The interior designers hide tall and large storage areas in the dining room and hallway behind the smooth cabinet doors, decorated with a mirror and flowery wallpaper. Grooves and frames on the cabinet doors in the living and dining room enrich and enliven the space. A fireplace on bioethanol creates a special warm feeling in the living room, and pleasant and soft textiles, curtains, carpets and decor create a feeling of comfort and homeliness. The plants bring freshness and nature into the home.
